Let's take a look at the roles we need to fill
We need to fill roles, and we need to fill them pretty quickly. If you know ANYONE who might be willing to play one of the lead roles (even yourself) please continue to the website to look at the character list...
Lead Females:
- Kim Shields (18yo)
Kim is a teenager who is tired of mom and dad's demands. She decided to run away from home and live with her boyfriend. However this doesn't last long. On one of her first days there a party is raided by police and she sent to jail for possession. - Carrie (Kim's Friend)
Carrie is a pretty care free girl, but doesn't want to see her best friend Kim get hurt. - Misses Shields (Kim's Mom)
Kim's mom wants the best for her daughter, even if that means Kim has to get a taste of what the real world is like.
Lead Males:
- Paul (Kim's Boyfriend)
A loser burnout. Paul is unemployed and keeping company with a young lady who is much to young for himself. He is always a week or two away from eviction from his ratty apartment. - Jeff (Kim's older brother)
Jeff is a highly motivated business man. He knows what he's looking for in life, and babysitting his sister is not it. Jeff knows a thing or two about cleaning up his own life, and wants to make sure his sister doesn't go down the path that he did. - Mister Sheilds (Kims' Dad)
Fully supportive of Kim's mom, this man has had enough of Kim's shenanigans and just wants her to see that she doesn't have to act out in the ways that she has been recently. - Landlord (Paul's Landlord)
Upset by how many time he's had to push Paul to the brink of eviction to get the rent out of him, he's not in the mood to tolerate anything funny going on in his least favorite unit. - Issacc (Paul's friend)
Another burnout who is just as guilty of ruining Paul's life as he is.
Extras:
- Cop 1
- Cop 2
- Crowd on bus/train (>4)
- Crowd at party (>10)
- Crowd a PD (>2)
- Extras on sidewalk during bike scene (>2)
If you know anyone who wants to play ANY of these roles, please let us know. Also, if there is enough interest in any single role, auditions may need to be held.
